The best autoresponder we've tested is GetResponse, but not by a whole lot.  Pricing is now vertually identical - you save a buck or two being with GetResponse.

Overall this is a great package with an easy control over broadcasting and timing your messages.  With GetResponse we found our delivery rate to be near perfect and you even get support to help your messages stay out of the spam box.

Lastly, you can try GetResponse free for up to 10 subscribers so you can get a feel for how the interface works which is pretty cool.

AWeber has recently changed its pricing to be more competitive with GetResponse, which is now $19 a month for up to 500 subscribers, that is only one dollar more than GetResponse.

This was a wise choice to lower the price for AWeber because everything else about their service is pretty good. Overall we found the tracking reports to be detailed and accurate, split testing was easy to perform and the learning curve was relatively short - overall a great tool at a moderate price.
